Important: By using the ZeroBit Gate service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with any transactions.

1. Service Description

ZeroBit Gate ("Service") is a sophisticated cryptocurrency exchange service operated by The Lonely Bit that facilitates secure, automated exchanges between Fractal Bitcoin (FB) and other supported cryptocurrencies. The Service features:

  • Forward Bridge: Exchange other cryptocurrencies for Fractal Bitcoin (FB)
  • Reverse Bridge: Exchange Fractal Bitcoin (FB) for other cryptocurrencies
  • Advanced Security: Enterprise-grade security measures and automated monitoring systems
  • Real-time Processing: Automated transaction processing and status tracking

2. Supported Cryptocurrencies

Payment Methods (Buy FB):

TRX, SOL, ETH, XRP, LTC, ADA, DOGE, MATIC, AVAX, ATOM, DOT, NEAR, ALGO, UNI, LINK, AAVE, ONE, ZEC, USDT (TRC20), BTC

Payout Methods (Sell FB):

SOL, ETH, XRP, LTC, ADA, DOGE, MATIC, AVAX, ATOM, DOT, NEAR, ALGO, UNI, LINK, AAVE, ONE, ZEC, BTC

3. Transaction Limits and Fees

  • Minimum Order: $12 USD equivalent
  • Maximum Order: $500 USD equivalent (may be expanded based on available bridge liquidity)
  • Service Fee: 2% of transaction value
  • Network Fees: Additional blockchain network fees may apply
  • Quote Validity: Quotes expire after a short period if not used
  • Reservation Timeout: Orders expire if not completed within the reservation period

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Address Accuracy

You are solely responsible for providing correct cryptocurrency addresses. The Service is not responsible for funds sent to incorrect addresses.

4.2 Private Key Security

You maintain full control of your private keys. The Service does not store or have access to your private keys.

4.3 Transaction Verification

You must verify all transaction details before confirming. Once confirmed, transactions cannot be reversed.

4.4 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

4.5 Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements where applicable.

5. Service Availability and Limitations

5.1 Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or technical issues. The system includes automated monitoring and alert systems.

5.2 Third-Party Dependencies

The Service relies on several third-party services:

  • NOWPayments: Payment processing and cryptocurrency exchange
  • Fractal Bitcoin Mempool: Blockchain transaction monitoring
  • CoinEx API: Real-time price feeds

We are not responsible for failures or delays caused by these services.

5.3 Network Congestion

Blockchain network congestion may cause delays in transaction processing. The service includes safety reserves and automated cleanup mechanisms, but we are not responsible for delays caused by network conditions.

5.4 Maintenance Mode

The service may be placed in maintenance mode for security updates or system maintenance. Users will be notified when possible.

6. Risk Disclosure

6.1 Cryptocurrency Risks

Cryptocurrency transactions involve significant risks including:

  • Price volatility and potential loss of value
  • Technical failures and network issues
  • Regulatory changes and legal uncertainty
  • Irreversible transactions

6.2 No Investment Advice

The Service does not provide investment, financial, or trading advice. All transactions are at your own risk.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service for:

  • Illegal activities or money laundering
  • Fraudulent transactions
  • Circumventing transaction limits
  • Any activity that violates applicable laws

8. Refunds and Cancellations

Due to the irreversible nature of cryptocurrency transactions, all transactions are final once confirmed. Refunds are only available in exceptional circumstances at our sole discretion, such as:

  • Technical errors on our part that prevent transaction completion
  • Service failures that result in loss of funds

You may cancel an order before submitting the payment, but once payment is received, the transaction cannot be reversed.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Lonely Bit shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of funds due to user error (incorrect addresses, etc.)
  • Losses due to blockchain network issues
  • Losses due to third-party service failures
  • Losses due to price volatility or market conditions
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Lonely Bit, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by The Lonely Bit or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or legal requirements. You may discontinue use of the Service at any time.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, cyber attacks, government actions, or failures of third-party services.

14. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in the United States, and the laws of the United States shall apply. You waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action lawsuit.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of the United States.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and The Lonely Bit regarding the use of the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
